Lion Cubs Picture 2
I took this Lion Cubs Picture early one morning in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, at the Cubitje Quap waterhole. We were waiting patiently at the waterhole, for only a few minutes when four lion cubs made their welcome appearance. I was very lucky in getting three of them drinking at the same time. It would have been even better if the two drinking were showing their tongues when I took the shot, but I will take it as is... I visited the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in March 2006 with my photography mentor, Johan Joubert APSSA. We had a really good time and I still believe this is one of the top four wildlife photography hotspots in Southern Africa. I just wish that someone will fix the broken waterpumps so that the wildlife can have sufficient water. The roads are pretty bad as well, but it is still well worth a visit.
