Lion Cubs Picture 1
I took this Lion Cubs Picture early one morning in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, at the Cubitje Quap waterhole. We were waiting patiently at the waterhole, for only a few minutes when four lion cubs made their welcome appearance. The cubs drank and then started playing, only being in sunlight every now and then. I waited for them to get into good light and then took this shot. I visited the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in March 2006 with my photography mentor, Johan Joubert APSSA. We had a really good time and I still believe this is one of the top four wildlife photography hotspots in Southern Africa. I just wish that someone will fix the broken waterpumps so that the wildlife can have sufficient water. The roads are pretty bad as well, but it is still well worth a visit.
