Sunset Landscape Picture 4
This sunset landscape picture will once again maybe not win too many competitions. It was taken on the Chobe floodplain near the Ihaha campsite. It is included on my website, as it pleases me a lot. I like this picture. Period. Why? I am not sure... I guess it is the obvious African sunset mood that it conveys. Maybe a bit of sadness that another day has gone. A bit of loneliness? My favourite area of the Chobe National Park is the Chobe floodplain. If you are ever lucky enough to drive around here and observe the wildlife, have your camera ready as the action will come thick and fast. The best time to visit this area is in the dry season, from May to October, even maybe November if you are not too averse to some serious heat.
